Termas de Chaves unveil the first Portuguese mobile application specifically for Thermal Tourism

It is the first mobile App designed for Thermal Tourism to be created in Portugal and will be made known in Chaves next Tuesday, March 21st, from 5 pm, at the Tourist Office of Alto Tâmega e Barroso. The technological application is one of the many novelties of Termas de Chaves for the Thermal Season of 2023 and which aim to consolidate the good results that this spa has been achieving in recent years.

Combining technology with thermal tourism, this session will present the newly created mobile application Termas de Chaves – Turismo Termal, which aggregates, in a single space, information on the thermal offer, tourist places to visit in the city, events taking place and spaces where eat and experiences to be carried out, such as the EN 2 or the trails available in the region. Available for Android and iOS, this application will be regularly updated with new information about the thermal offer, the county and its tour operators.

In the same session, the new EN2 Thermal Programs will also be presented, aimed at the specific needs of those who take this mythical route that has its KM0 in Chaves, and Short Duration Programs, a recent novelty in this thermal spa. The session will culminate with the exhibition of the promotional video for the Spa.

Balneário Flaviense is an important economic asset, being a pillar of tourist and economic development for the region, which in addition to generating revenue in the territory, boosts the economy by creating jobs and encouraging public and private investment.
