Termas de Chaves are ‘Five Star’ for the second year running

Balneário Flaviense is once again the winner of the Five Star Regions - 2025 Award, in the ‘Termas’ category, in the Vila Real district.

Winning this distinction for the second year running reinforces the position of Termas de Chaves as a benchmark in the sector, recognised not only for the therapeutic value of Flaviense Thermal Water, but also for the service provided and the experience offered to its guests.

The initiative, now in its 8th edition, highlights the best brands, services and products that stand out for their quality and overall satisfaction among consumers. In total, 1,022 brands in the different regions of the country were evaluated by 498,660 consumers.

The award is the result of a rigorous assessment based on five essential criteria: Satisfaction through experimentation, Price-Quality Ratio, Recommendation Intention, Brand Confidence and Innovation, ensuring that the winning brands stand out for their excellence and impact on consumers' lives.

The Termas de Chaves thus continue to consolidate their commitment to quality and innovation. It should be emphasised that this space welcomed more than 13,000 visitors in 2024, helping to strengthen the spa sector and the region's economy.
