Music and discounts mark the start of the Thermal Season at Termas de Chaves in a year that will bring other new features to this space

An unmissable concert, discounts on Spa Programs, presence at Sabores de Chaves and new spaces. Everything to mark the opening of the 2024 Thermal Season at Termas de Chaves, which takes place this Thursday, February 1st. After registering the highest demand ever in 2023, reaching a record of 11,598 thermal baths, the year will also be marked by the inauguration of the Aquae Salutem Thermal Complex, unique in Portugal, and a new space for the sale and promotion of thermal and local products.

Music is in the spotlight at the beginning of the Thermal Season, in Chaves, with a concert inside the Balneário, on Saturday, February 3rd, at 5:30 pm. Débora Papa, singer and composer from Flavi, presents her most recent repertoire, in an event with free entry. During the opening week, from the 1st to the 8th of February, Balneário Flaviense will offer a 5% discount on Spa Programs, available in the Online Store, and will be present at the Feira dos Sabores de Chaves which runs from the 2nd to the 4th of February. “We reopen the doors for this new year with the same commitment that we have been demonstrating, always attentive to the needs of our visitors”, says Brigite Gonçalves, Administrator of the Balneário.

The new Thermal Season is also marked by renovations in the Spa, expansion and physical improvement of various sectors and the creation of a space for the sale and promotion of thermal and local products. One of the big news in 2024 will be the inauguration of the Aquae Termal Thermal Complex, an open-air hydrothermal space, unique in the country, with outdoor pools filled with Flaviense Thermal Water. “We are working to achieve these objectives, which are fundamental to promoting the health and well-being of all the people who visit us”, says Brigite Gonçalves.

The growing number of Aquistas has an equally positive impact on the region and local economy, especially the hotel and restaurant sectors. In 2023, the Spa reached a record 11,598 thermal baths, with an increase of almost 50% in the Spa and Wellness area.
