Aquae Salutem Thermal Complex: a unique wellness refuge in mainland Portugal

In the heart of the Termas de Chaves, the Aquae Salutem Complex is a unique reference on the Portuguese spa scene. Part of the Balneário Flaviense, this space combines tradition and modernity in a Hydrothermal Circuit designed to revitalise body and mind.

With a capacity for 104 people, the Complex offers a diverse range of experiences that explore the therapeutic benefits of Flaviense Thermal Water. Among the highlights are the outdoor Hydrodynamic Pools, with temperatures between 30ºC and 36ºC, which provide moments of deep relaxation. The circuit also includes Sensory Showers, with sound effects and thermal variations, as well as a Sauna and Turkish Bath, ideal for purifying and balancing the body.

Termas de Chaves offers two access options to the circuit: the Full Entrance, which gives access to the Hydrodynamic Pools, Sensory Showers, which includes the Ice Fountain, as well as the Sauna and Turkish Bath; and the Partial Entrance, which only allows access to the Hydrodynamic Pools. Guests can also choose between 60-minute sessions (Happy Hour) or longer 90-minute sessions, adjusting the experience to their pace and availability.

Access is permitted for young people aged 14 and over, as long as they are accompanied by an adult, ensuring a safe, peaceful and accessible experience for different audiences.
